Taking a vacation and fulfilling a life-long dream are two different things... One can always wish to take a vacation somewhere, book a date, book a package and off you go...
But fulfilling a life-long dream, now that's a different story. It takes hours, days, months, even years of accumulated passion to bring the idea to life. It takes planning, understanding and a lil' bit of moolah to realized it.
Maybe I'm selfish, insensitive... but I can't just throw it all away. Who knows what's gonna happen next... few days, few months down the road...
It's already been a week and still no decision...
My heart goes out to the people in Tohoku, who has lost so much more... 日本 がんばれ!!!

Hi! I'm Ilaya. I just started blogging and came across yours. I wanted to respond to this one. You're right about what you're saying. I can relate. Fulfilling a life-long dream takes a lot of prep. Trials and tribulations. Time, money, acceptance, believe, hope, perseverance. But in the end, the journey is what counts. The destination is what makes you value the whole trip. You get so much more out of the journey. It's just hard to recognize that, while you're in it.
